Not Bad.

This makes for a good intro to something. It's a calm track and I can appreciate that. I would have liked to hear some drums drop in with maybe some epic crashes and distorted guitars. But that's just me, I like drums and guitars on everything! what can I say? You got a good thing going on here. The clarity is wonderful too so keep on keepin on.

FL Slayer Sucks

I can't hate on you too hard cause I can tell that you tried. The cheese factor is way too high on this piece. Those drums need help. The main synth needs something else to help break it up and keep it interesting. And go easy on the FL slayer it doesn't even come close to real guitar. If you have to use it, atleast mix it down low and take some of the attack out of it.

Where's the rest of the song? It sounds like it's missing most of it. I dunno. Maybe I'm a poor judge of Hip hop but there's absolutely nothing in the mid-range or the Highs in this beat and really no bass lines either. I guess it would sound different with vocals on it but that would still leave the highs and lows that need addressing. Hi hats, cymbals, wind chimes, pianos, violins, choirs, or flutes, fuck it put a kazoo in there, Really just about anything additional that you put in this track should help.

Get better Sounds

I don't want to hate on you man. You got a long way to go. You should look for some better drum sounds and work on your rythms. The lead synth wasn't that bad, it resonated a little too much in the 3.5 Khz range which is actually the most annoying frequency to a human ear. Sorry man. Bring the beef to the table cause all you got here is trimmings. I do wish you luck, however.
